**Capture authentic human response.**

Go beyond text-based answers. Videos allows respondents to submit short video responses so you can see and hear real emotion, tone, and context.

**What you can do:**

* Collect video feedback on products or ads
* Capture testimonials and reactions
* Analyze facial expression and tone
* Tag and organize key moments
* Export clips for research or marketing use

**Best for:** Qualitative research, emotional insight, UGC capture, product testing.

* Ad Testing: Measuring the immediate emotional impact of a video ad.
* User Experience (UX): Watching a user interact with a product in real-time.
* Brand Advocacy: Building a library of authentic customer stories and testimonials.
* Creative Benchmarking: Comparing reactions across different demographics to see where a message lands best.

### Create Video Project

The first stage in using the Videos feature is defining the "why" behind your request. This page allows you to set the foundation for capturing authentic, high-impact feedback that goes beyond simple text responses.

***

#### Basic Project Setup

Start by giving your project a clear identity so your team and testers understand the mission:

* Video Project Name: Enter a title for your test, such as "Brand Sentiment Analysis" or "Product Unboxing".
* Project Description: Provide a concise summary of what you are looking to learn from your respondents. Note the 142-character limit for this field.

***

#### Incentives and Tester Experience

Since video responses require more effort from your audience than multiple-choice questions, use these tools to encourage participation:

* Add a Gift Note: Write a custom thank-you message that respondents see after they finish recording. This has a 142-character limit.
* Promo / Discount Code: Optionally include a code as an immediate reward for their contribution.
* Allow Tester Comments: Toggle this on if you want to allow respondents to add additional text notes alongside their video submissions.

***

#### Technical Controls

Fine-tune how you collect data to ensure it meets your research standards:

* Desired Confidence Level: Use the slider to set the statistical confidence you need for this project.
* Collect Contact Information: Enable this if you need to capture names or emails for follow-up research or marketing outreach.

***

#### Moving to the Next Step

* Proceed: Once your details are set, click the black Proceed button to move to Select Audience.
* Save as Draft: If you need more time to finalize your incentives or project scope, use the button in the top right to save your progress.

### Select Audience for Video Project

After introducing your project, the Select Audience phase allows you to determine who will participate in your video study. This stage ensures your video feedback comes from the most relevant group of respondents for your research goals.

***

#### Defining Your Respondent Group

You can choose to reach your entire testing community or target a specific demographic:

* Send to all Testers in Audience: Select this checkbox to distribute your video request to every individual currently in your database.
* Segments: Use this section to target organized groups of testers for better research precision and more focused analysis.
* Segment Selection: You can choose to include All existing segments or pick specific ones that align with your project’s target audience.

***

#### Finalizing Your Audience

Once your audience is selected, you can move forward to defining the specific questions you want them to answer on camera:

* Proceed: Click the black Proceed button to move to the Add Questions stage.
* Save as Draft: If you need to verify your segment data in the Audience tab before continuing, click Save as Draft in the top right corner to protect your progress.

### Add Video Questions

The Add Video Questions stage is where you design the specific prompts that will trigger your respondents' video feedback. This step allows you to craft high-impact questions and set technical boundaries for the content you receive.

***

#### Crafting Your Video Prompts

Each question you add asks the respondent to record a short video answer to provide rich qualitative data:

* Video Prompt Question: Enter the specific question you want the participant to answer on camera.
* Accompanying Media (Optional): You can upload an image or video (JPG, PNG, MP4, or MOV) to display alongside the question. This provides necessary context, such as showing a specific ad before asking for a reaction.
* Multiple Questions: Click + Add a question to build a sequence of prompts for your participants.

***

#### Response Settings and Controls

Fine-tune how testers can reply to ensure the data fits your project's needs:

* Max Duration: Use the dropdown menu to set a time limit for the response (e.g., 1 minute).
* Allow Voice-Only Responses: Toggle this on if you want to give participants the option to submit audio if they are not comfortable being on camera.
* Allow File Upload: Enable this to let respondents record their video, voice, or upload a pre-existing file from their device.

***

#### Navigation

* Back: Click the Back button to return to the Select Audience phase.
* Proceed: Once your questions are finalized, click the black Proceed button to move to the project Overview.
* Save as Draft: Use the button in the top right corner to save your questions and finish the setup later.
