### Select Swipe Goal

The Swipe feature is designed for rapid-fire feedback and preference testing. Similar to popular mobile interfaces, it allows your audience to quickly evaluate and sort through different options, giving you clear data on which concepts stand out.

***

#### Choosing Your Objective

To start your project, select the primary goal you want to achieve with this swipe test:

* Concept Testing: Use this to gather immediate reactions on multiple ideas, designs, or logos to see which ones are the most appealing.
* Preference Identification: Select this goal to understand consumer choice by having participants "swipe" to indicate their favorites among several competing assets.
* Quick Feedback: Ideal for gut-check research where you need to validate a specific creative direction in a short amount of time.

***

#### How to Proceed

* Confirm Selection: Click the radio button for your desired research goal.
* Proceed: Click the black Proceed button to move to the Swipe Details stage.
* Save as Draft: If you are still refining your research objectives, you can click Save as Draft in the top right corner.

### Select Audience for Swipe Project

The Select Audience stage for a Swipe project allows you to choose exactly who will participate in your rapid-fire preference testing. Setting the right audience ensures that the "swipes" you receive are representative of your actual target market.

***

#### Choosing Your Respondents

You can target your audience by selecting from your existing tester database:

* Send to all Testers in Audience: Select this checkbox if you want to distribute your swipe test to every individual currently registered in your database.
* Segments: These are organized groups of testers that allow for better research organization.
* Segment Selection: You can choose to include All segments or pick specific groups to act as focus groups for your project.

***

#### Navigation and Progress

Once you have defined your audience, you can proceed to the asset creation phase:

* Review Goal: Your current project goal (e.g., "Concept Testing") is displayed at the top for reference.
* Proceed: Click the black Proceed button to move to the Upload Swipe Assets stage.
* Save as Draft: If you need to finalize your segments or add more testers first, click Save as Draft in the top right corner to keep your setup secure.

### Add Swipe Items

The Add Swipe Items page is where you upload the visual concepts you want your audience to evaluate. This stage is designed for high-speed feedback, allowing testers to quickly swipe through different ideas to indicate their preferences.

***

#### Uploading Your Concepts

Provide the assets that will be compared during the swipe session:

* Swipe Item Name: Assign a clear name to each item to track its performance in your reports.
* Visual Assets: Upload images (JPEG or PNG) that represent your concepts, such as different logo variations, packaging designs, or ad headlines.
* Bulk Uploading: You can drag and drop multiple files at once or click Browse Files to select them from your device.

***

#### Managing the Swipe Deck

Organize your items to ensure the best tester experience:

* Item Count: Most effective swipe tests include between 5 to 10 items to keep testers engaged without causing fatigue.
* Add New Item: Click the + Add new swipe item button to include more assets in the rotation.
* Ordering: Use the drag handles to change the sequence in which items appear to your audience.
* Removal: Click the "X" in the top right corner of any item block to remove it from the project.

***

#### Navigation and Saving

* Proceed: Once your deck is complete, click the black Proceed button to move to the Overview stage.
* Save as Draft: If you are waiting on final design files, click Save as Draft in the top right corner to save your progress.
