# Creating and Launching an Orchestra

<figure><img src="/files/QSOphe1Ktf6OLX5F5ufM" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The first step in using Orchestra is choosing the type of simulation that best fits your business goals. Orchestra is designed to remove the guesswork by evaluating how your products perform in a realistic shopping environment.

***

#### Choosing Your Simulation Type

Select the methodology that aligns with your research objectives:

* A/B Test: Use this to test your products to drive profit, revenue, and conversion rates by comparing different variables.
* Virtual Shopping Experience Test: Choose this to simulate and observe how your products perform in a virtual shopping environment, providing data-driven insights into consumer preferences.

***

#### What is a Virtual Shopping Experience?

If you choose the virtual shopping route, you will design environments that showcase your brand and competitor products side-by-side. This allows you to:

* Observe consumer behavior in a controlled, simulated setting.
* Gather insights on how placement and competitive context affect choice.

***

#### How to Proceed

* Review Details: Click the Details button on either option to learn more about that specific test type before committing.
* Finalize Selection: Select the radio button for your chosen test and click the Proceed button to move to the next stage of configuration.
* Drafting: If you aren't ready to start yet, you can click Save as Draft in the top right corner to hold your place.
