### Managing Your Audience

The Audience tab serves as your central hub for managing the customers who provide data for your brand. By organizing your contacts effectively, you ensure your research reaches the most relevant demographics.

***

#### Dashboard Overview

Monitor the health and activity of your customer community with high-level metrics:

* Total Audience: View the total number of unique customers in your database.
* Submission Rate: Track the percentage of customers who successfully complete the projects sent to them.
* Pending Rate: Monitor how many invitations are currently awaiting a response.
* Projects Sent: View the total count of research projects launched from your account.

***

#### Segmenting Your Customers

Segments allow you to group customers together for better organization and targeted analysis, acting as specific focus groups for your studies:

* View Existing Segments: Quickly access pre-defined groups such as "The Wellness Explorer" or "The Science Seeker".
* Create a Segment: Use the + Create a Segment button to build new groups based on specific criteria.
* Manage Groups: You can delete segments that are no longer needed to keep your targeting options streamlined.

***

#### Managing Individual Customers

Maintain a high-quality database by managing individual customer profiles directly:

* Add Customer: Click the black Add Tester button to manually bring new participants into your audience.
* Filter and Search: Use the search bar to find customers by email, or filter the list by Age, Location, Gender, and Ethnicity.
* Status Tracking: See at a glance if a customer is "Active" and ready for new projects.
* Edit/Delete: Use the pencil icon to update a customer's information or the trash icon to remove them from your database.

***

#### Bulk Actions

For larger databases, use the Bulk Actions dropdown to manage multiple customers at once, such as bulk upload.

### Add New Customer

The Add New Customer process allows you to manually grow your database by inputting specific demographic and socioeconomic details. This ensures that when you launch project, you have a rich profile for every individual participating in your research.

***

#### Entering Demographic Details

The first stage of onboarding a new customer focuses on their core identity:

* Primary Information: Enter the customer's First name, Last name, and Email address to establish their unique profile.
* Core Demographics: Use the dropdown menus to select the customer's Age, Gender Identity, and Ethnicity.
* Communication Preferences: Select the customer's Language preference to ensure they receive project invitations in their native or preferred language.

***

#### Building a Complete Profile

After completing the initial demographic section, you will proceed through additional stages to add depth to the customer's profile:

1. Location & Living Status: Define where the customer lives and their current housing or household situation.
2. Socioeconomic Details: Provide information regarding education, income, or employment status to help with precise segment targeting later.

***

#### Finalizing the Addition

* Progress Tracker: Use the vertical stepper on the left to see which stage of the setup you are currently in.
* Proceed: Click the black Proceed button at the bottom of the page to save the current details and move to the next section.
* Return to List: If you need to exit, click the "Back to New Tester" arrow in the top left corner.
